Simon Cowell, the creator of "Got Talent," signs a $125 million securitization agreement for the reality format.

Syco Entertainment, owned by Simon Cowell, has reached a $125 million agreement to securitize the Got Talent brand.

The agreement securitizes the Got Talent intellectual property.

Sales of franchises, original material, digital revenue, production costs and fees, and sponsorship revenue have all been combined as securities.

As a result, according to ACF, the two-year-long transaction gives Syco a war chest "expand the company by combining programmes for organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

"The leading bank, ACF, provided Syco with guidance in the US and the UK.

"For Syco, the news comes after it made widespread redundancies earlier this year, with Cowell at the time reportedly keen to spend more time with his family.
